In the new Netflix series "All The Light We Cannot See" based on Anthony Doerr's bestseller novel the paths of a blind French girl and a German soldier cross during World War II.
This show is also a reminder of the importance of making streaming content accessible to people with visual impairments. Already today, most Netflix Originals have audio description. Also the trailers for this show feature audio description.
On top of that, we created a campaign that is inclusive for people with visual impairments and imparts important knowledge to people without visual impairments. This includes our first tactile artwork for a Netflix series. The key art posters can be experienced by touching them with the hand. Additionally, QR codes direct to the trailer with audio description.

The Unsceen
One scene from the screenplay for the new Netflix show “All The Light We Cannot See” did not become part of the finished series. With this book we publish this unseen scene around the character of blind Marie in Braille. We call this script "The Unsceen" – another campaign piece that is inclusive for people with visual impairments and imparts important knowledge to people without visual impairments. The limited edition is available for free at Hugendubel.
